Medical Malpractice Paralegal needed for large Tampa Law Firm.
The paralegal must be able to perform a combination of the following duties:
(1) Manage legal files from receipt of file to trial stage, including but not limited to, performing the initial file review, implementing case strategies, and gathering and organizing documents from clients and others, and performing investigation/research
(2) Assist with preparation of pleadings, motions and other documents as necessary
(3) Preparing and responding to discovery requests
(4) Extensive document review and management, including analyzing and summarizing documents
(5) Assisting attorneys and other paralegals on various projects as needed
(6) Communicate with clients, draft and prepare correspondence and other written documents as required
(7) Manage trial preparation and trial support, including but not limited to preparing trial exhibits, witness coordination, and document management.
Skills / Requirements
Must have at least 5-7 years relevant experience.
Must be professional and polished.
