Medical Collector needed for local healthcare company. Primary responsibility will be interacting with insurance companies and patients to collect on past due accounts. The right candidate will present a strong medical collection background and have experience specifically with Medicare, Medicaid and private insurances. Must also possess knowledge of ICD9 and CPT codes and be proficient with medical billing.

Hours are 8-5, M-F

Must posses a medical collection and billing background

Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurances are strongly recommended

Must have high attention to detail and great customer service skills

Must be meticulous and able to follow directions

Must be able to work with minimal supervision

Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background

Administrative testing will be required
