We are seeking a a Hardware Design Engineer for design, construction, implementation and support of high-voltage test systems.
You will:
* Identify customer needs
* Select hardware from national vendors
* Documenting hardware system design
* Design custom components
* Supervise construction system
* Develop feasibility tests
* Follow-on system support including upgrades and mods
Skills Needed:
Engineering validation, manufacturing functional or service testing environment background
Working knowledge of electrical test instrumentation, power supplies and controls
Ability to source test equipment and fabrication services
Basic CAD skills (AutoCAD)
Familiarity with RS232, USB, GPIB, Ethernet Networks and others
Familiarity tools such as Labview, Visual Basic, C/C++, and SQL Server
Project management skills
Education:
BS in related engineering or scientific discipline
Experience:
Three or more years of direct experience designing and building custom systems
