Applications Engineer

$52k to $70k DOE

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH OVENS OR WASHERS

Provides technical support to Sales, and is responsible for factory cost estimates and project quotes.

Applies skills and abilities to estimating costs to manufacture, install and/or service custom industrial equipment.
Uses established standards, policies and procedures to complete work assignments.

Uses computer assisted engineering, design software and equipment to perform tasks.

* Prepares detailed specifications, cost estimates, concept drawings, written quotations, etc., for use in sales presentations.
* Is responsible for quoting to customer specifications, insuring equipment concepts meets specifications, and/or identifies and itemizes the exceptions to specification.
* Has direct client contact for information needs.
* Consistently demonstrates professional skills in structuring assigned activities, creativity, teamwork, handling of clients, and clients changing needs, decision making and problem solving.
* Assists Sales personnel in determining customer needs and requirements relative to products and product lines.
* Interfaces with Project Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing, on a regular basis.
* May be required to travel short term.

Associate degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering, or equivalent.

Electrical controls experience.

Auto Cad and MS Office proficient.
