Electrical Interconnect Assembler (Machine Wirer)

***Train on 1st shift for a couple of weeks and then move to second***
The length of time will depend upon how quickly they catch on.

Installs conduit wire and electrical devices on industrial heating equipment under the direction of the Electrical Supervisor and/or Interconnect A person.

Plans, lays out and installs complicated electrical equipment and controls on a wide variety of standard and customized designed equipment to cpmpany or NEC standards.

Ensures company standards and procedures are followed; involved in upgrading current standards and procedures.

Performs any duties of any Electrical Assembly position as required; assists in the electrical testing operations on sections or complete systems as needed.

Maintains work area in an orderly and safe condition.

Performs installation and/or repair work at customer location when needed.

Attends classes or seminars to remain current on technical aspects of all phases of responsibility.

Performs other duties as needed, including any of a lower classification.

Requires electrical training, as well as competency and troubleshooting ability in electrical circuits. Must be able to work from prints; excellent shop math skills necessary. Minimum of 6 months electrical experience, 3 years in industrial heating equipment.
