Job Description

Keymark Corporation, an aluminum extrusion manufacturing plant, is actively interviewing applicants for a Maintenance Department Office Administrator to work at our Corporate Offices in Fonda, NY. Office hours are Monday - Friday with a flexible schedule of either 7am - 3:30pm OR 8am - 4:30pm.

Starting salary range depending on your experience and knowledge, starts between $18.00 - $23.00/hour plus a comprehensive benefits package. Minimum experience is 2 years in an office administrative line of work.


You will provide a full range of administrative support to the Maintenance department which includes:

  • monitoring and maintaining department records
  • sorting incoming and outgoing mail
  • insurance requirements
  • preventative maintenance schedules
  • training requirements
  • reports and department files as required

As the Maintenance Department Office Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with coordination of schedules and maintenance activity-track inventory & equipment purchases.
  • Assist with coordinating work requests to staff.
  • Execute daily maintenance of time and attendance system.
  • Coordinate with Techs for purchases and receipts.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and department managers.
  • Work with HR & Safety to coordinate new hire onboarding and safety training utilizing Training Manager Software.
  • Assist in monitoring Departmental-specific training and qualifications
  • Assist in Project planning for new equipment installation and other Capital improvement projects.


Schedule:

Office hours are Monday - Friday with a flexible schedule of either 7am - 3:30pm OR 8am - 4:30pm.


We are looking for candidates with the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills, and technical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with Department and Plant Managers, Maintenance staff employees, and Production department
  • managers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
  • Must be service-oriented, and able to accomplish directives with minimal supervision and follow-up.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred. 2-3 years in a similar role.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Auto Cad a Plus
  • Maintenance or Facilities Administration experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass a background screening.
